Vanessa Fischer has been working in film and television for over a decade as a Costume Designer and Wardrobe Stylist. In costume design she has gained acclaim for her creative vision, winning awards for best costume design for the International Emmy Award Nominated The Amazing Gayl Pile, and the dark comedy feature film Filth City. Also being nominated this year for Best Costume design at the 1st annual CAFTCAD awards.

She has designed for such children’s series as YouTube Red’s We are Savvy, Netflix’s Gaming Show in My Parent’s Garage, and Disney XD’s Grizzly Cup.

Recently, Vanessa has curated content for the Art Gallery of Ontario’s youth programming on styling and costume design. Furthermore, she has facilitated workshops with POV 3rd Street and CAFTCAD to promote diversity and inclusively in costume design/wardrobe styling for commercials, film and television.
