CAFTCAD Announcement Regarding COVID-19

 To our valued CAFTCAD members, supporters, and the general public,

Like the rest of the world, we have been following the updates on COVID-19 closely. This week, we took the practical measure of postponing our Movie Wardrobe Sale, as well as our March courses, to later dates to help protect our staff, members, and the general public. We are working eagerly to find alternative dates for both the Movie Wardrobe Sale and March courses and will announce these new dates as soon as they are confirmed. We will continue to keep vendor applications open for the Spring Movie Wardrobe Sale and those that have already applied, will not need to reapply. 

In addition, our office and library will be temporarily closed as full-time staff are encouraged to work remotely. Staff will still be accessible on all caftcad.com emails and through our office phone number at: 416-900-0955. Please do not hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns to info@caftcad.com.  

This has been a difficult, but necessary decision. We continue to monitor news of the pandemic daily, and will follow the advice of Toronto Public Health and provincial and federal authorities.

We look forward to continuing to offer courses, events, and networking opportunities to our members in the future and will make those announcements as they come. In the meantime, we encourage members and costume professionals alike to interact digitally through our operating members Google group, as well as through social media, to stay connected during this difficult time.
