EXECUTIVE SECRETARY

Brenda is a Brazilian designer currently focusing her studies in costume design. She holds a Fashion Studies diploma from Seneca College and a Pattern Making certificate from SENAI. She moved to Toronto to expand her knowledge in both the fashion and film industry.

Her love for fashion began when she felt the need to express her emotions through clothing and accessories. Unable to afford expensive alternative fashion, she launched Blood Snake- her sustainable accessories brand that operated for 4 years, crafting minimal-waste pieces that dressed clients across Brazil at accessible prices. Through this experience, her passion for fashion and connecting with others grew even stronger. She sees fashion as a form of empowerment through self-expression and community connection.

Brenda is honoured to be part of CAFTCAD and to use her skills and knowledge to support an organization she deeply values.
