EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER

Melanie is a Toronto based Costume Professional with a dynamic background in fashion & costume. Her journey has taken her from visual merchandising at Nordstrom, to styling for TV & commercials, and costume work with NABET 700 & IATSE 873. Before discovering CAFTCAD, she never imagined costuming for film & TV could be a viable career. She’s grateful for the incredible projects she’s been part of & the inspiring mentors who have guided her along the way.

As a IATSE 873 member, she has embraced roles as a Costume Coordinator, Background Coordinator, Buyer, and Set Supervisor. She has also contributed to CAFTCAD as an Events & Exhibit Assistant and currently serves as the Costume Coordinator on Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Season 4.

With her experience, dedication, and passion for storytelling through costume, she is committed to supporting CAFTCAD’s growth and vision for the future!
